RETURNS & REFUNDS

All customers based within the EU may return unwanted item(s) by exercising their rights under the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) as detailed below. We also offer a standard returns policy which covers returns or exchange of any unwanted product(s).

You may return any delivered product(s) you have purchased within 30 calendar days after the day of delivery for any reason (including if you simply change your mind).

However if you have ordered a bespoke made to order product and the products are not deemed to be faulty on delivery a manufacturing fee of 100% of the contract value is applicable and no refund will apply.

NOTIFYING US

If you are not happy with your purchase, have simply changed your mind or you believe the product may be faulty, you must notify us within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods by contacting us via email to: customercare@securitybollardsdirect.co.uk.

On receipt of your notice of contract cancellation, we will email you with instructions on how and where to return your product(s). 

RETURNING GOODS

All returned products must be returned unused, as new, and in undamaged condition. An installed product that is returned, has been used and is not faulty will not be eligible for a full refund.

We advise you to return goods in their original product packaging with all shrink wrapping and banding around the pallet or crate still intact. The products will be at your risk during return, so please make sure that the items are sufficiently packaged to prevent damage occurring during their return.

We recommend that you retain proof of sending, in case of a dispute.

REPLACEMENT, REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

On receiving the product(s) and after inspection of the goods you are not satisfied we can arrange for a replacement, exchange or full refund as required.

Your refund can only be credited to the original payment card or PayPal™ account. For order cancelled under the DSRs, the refunded amount will include shipping costs. Shipping costs will not be refunded for any items returned under our standard returns policy.

If the products are found to be faulty we will arrange for a replacement to be sent or refund you the cost of your purchase to include the shipping cost.

We will deem goods to be faulty if you receive them damaged, or where a manufacturing fault occurs within six months of purchase.

Any items that are damaged as a result of an impact, vandalism or lack of maintenance will not be considered as faulty. Where appropriate we will offer to repair any damaged product(s) which would be subject to our standard call out and repair charges.

If you would like to exchange your product(s), please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product value, subject to availability. If we cannot fulfil this replacement, you will receive a full refund for the item or a suitable replacement which may incur additional charges.

If you are returning a product because you have simply changed your mind after delivery, you must arrange for return transport of the goods at your own cost. All items will be checked upon return. We will give a full refund of the price paid for the returned product so long as it is returned in an as new unused condition within the original packaging in which it was supplied.

These rights apply to the extent that you have purchased the product as a consumer.

IMPORTANT NOTE

If you are based in the EU you have the right to cancel your order with Direct Bollards Ltd under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (DSRs). You will need to provide written notice within seven working days of receipt of the goods.
