We guarantee that any product purchased from us through our website is of satisfactory quality, and reasonably fit for all of the purposes for which products of the kind are commonly supplied and used for.
We supply every product with a 12 month manufacturers warranty, alongside our own promise of satisfaction and performance.
This warranty will cover any operational defect during the every day use of the product and we will provide a free repair or replacement whenever an operational defect is evident for that product and is a fault caused during the manufacturing of that product.
The warranty will not apply to any product that has been misused or damaged as a direct result of any misuse, or has been caused by vandalism or an impact from a third party vehicle or person.
Failure to maintain the product during the term of the warranty may also invalidate the guarantee we provide if this has caused the product to fail.
In the event that a fault had occurred due to lack of maintenance, a repair of the product will still be offered to the customer. A charge for this repair would be agreed between both parties and will be payable by the customer prior to the repair being undertaken.
The manufacturers guarantee will be void if you appoint a third party to carry out an inspection, repair or attempted repair to a product without having first notified us of the claim or requested our written consent in advance of the inspection/repair.
A written quotation for any repair will be provided in writing to the customer before we undertake any repair.
The guarantee period for all of the automatic bollards and barriers we supply is valid for 2 years. This guarantee is applied from the date that the goods were supplied, and not from the date the goods were installed.
The guarantee is provided on a “return to base” basis only. Inner assembly units with a suspected fault must be carefully removed from the outer casing, complete with the full length of four core cable originally supplied, and returned to BFT Europe in a suitable protective packaging.
We provide a remote diagnostics service to all of our customers whereby we can normally diagnose any fault over the telephone. Please contact us as soon as a fault becomes evident before you return any parts you have assumed to be faulty.

If every effort has been made to rectify the problem and the fault can not be resolved we will instruct you on how to return any faulty parts.
Clear identifying documentation must accompany the unit together with a brief description of the perceived fault.
Our liability under any claim is strictly limited to the purchase price of the product you purchased.We are not responsible for indirect losses that result from our failure to comply with these terms that fall into the following categories:
(a) Loss of income or revenue (b) Loss of business (c) Loss of profits or contract (d) Loss of anticipated savings (e) Loss of data
Our own product guarantees apply in conjunction with our terms and conditions and do not affect your statutory rights.
INSTALLATIONSWe guarantee that any installation carried out by us will be of the highest quality, carried out to the highest standard, by using only first grade materials.
